## Overview

Connect your Zoom account so Dover creates a new Zoom meeting for each interview you schedule. Each interviewer connects their own account in **Settings → Integrations**.

---

## How the Zoom integration works

The Zoom integration gives every interview its own meeting, so candidates never share a room.

- Dover creates the meeting on the interviewer's Zoom account when the interview is booked.
- The meeting's name in Zoom includes the job title and the candidate's name, for example Senior Software Engineer interview with Alice Johnson.
- The Zoom link and dial-in numbers go into the calendar invite and the emails Dover sends the candidate.
- When an interview has more than one interviewer, the meeting is hosted on the account of the first interviewer added to that interview.

## Connect your Zoom account

Each interviewer connects their own Zoom account. A teammate's connection doesn't create meetings for your interviews.

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Click **Zoom**.
3. Click **Connect Zoom**. Zoom opens in a new tab.
4. Sign in to Zoom and approve the connection.
5. Return to Dover. Your Zoom email address appears under **Zoom** once the connection is complete.

To add a second Zoom account, click **Connect another account**. If you connect more than one Zoom account, Dover creates new meetings on the account you connected most recently.

---

## Use Zoom for your interviews

After you connect Zoom, choose it as your meeting location.

1. Go to **Settings → Interviews & Notetaker**.
2. Under **Meeting location**, select **Zoom**.
3. Click **Save**.

Dover now creates a Zoom meeting for each new interview you're booked into. The **Zoom** option stays unavailable until your account is connected.

---

## Meeting settings Dover applies

Dover sets these options on every meeting it creates, so candidates can join without extra steps:

| Setting | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Personal meeting room | Not used. Each interview gets a new meeting ID. |
| Registration | Not required |
| Zoom sign-in for participants | Not required |
| Waiting room | Off |
| Zoom AI Companion meeting summary | Off |

Your Zoom account's admin settings can override some of these. For example, a Zoom admin can lock the waiting room on for everyone.

---

## Reconnect or disconnect Zoom

If your Zoom access expires or is revoked, the Zoom dialog shows a reconnect message under your Zoom email address. To fix it, click **Connect Zoom** and approve the connection again.

To stop using the Zoom integration:

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations** and click **Zoom**.
2. Click **Disconnect** next to your Zoom account.
3. Click **Disconnect** to confirm.

Interviews that are already scheduled keep their Zoom links. After you disconnect, go to **Settings → Interviews & Notetaker** and choose a different option under **Meeting location**, so your new interviews get a meeting link.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does every interviewer need their own Zoom account?

Yes. Dover creates each Zoom meeting on the interviewer's own Zoom account, so every interviewer who wants Zoom meetings connects their own account.

### What happens to the Zoom meeting when an interview is canceled?

When an interview is canceled in Dover, Dover removes the Zoom meeting it created for that interview.

### Do candidates need a Zoom account to join?

No. Candidates can join the Zoom meeting from the link in their invite without signing in to Zoom.

### Why do candidates still land in a waiting room?

Dover turns the waiting room off, but your Zoom account settings can force it on. Ask your Zoom admin to change the waiting room setting for your account.
