Candidate reviews

See what candidates say about interviewing with you, respond to reviews, and pin your best ones to your job board profile.

Overview

Section titled “Overview”

Candidate reviews are left by candidates who interviewed with you. They appear on your Dover job board profile once they’re approved. Click Candidate Reviews in the left sidebar to read them, respond, and choose which ones to feature.

See your reviews

Section titled “See your reviews”

The Candidate Reviews page shows your average rating and each review. A review shows:

  • The Overall rating.
  • The Interview difficulty, when the candidate gave one.
  • The candidate’s written Review.
  • Your response, if you wrote one.

When there’s more than one review, you can sort the list. Reviews that were hidden show a Hidden tag. A hidden review doesn’t appear on your job board profile.

By default, reviews show Anonymous candidate.

Respond to a review

Section titled “Respond to a review”
  1. Click Candidate Reviews in the left sidebar.
  2. Find the review and click Respond to review.
  3. Write your response and save it.

Dover shows Response saved. To change your response later, click Edit your response.

Pin a review to your job board

Section titled “Pin a review to your job board”

Pinned reviews are featured at the top of your job board profile. You can pin up to 3, and the page shows how many you’ve used, such as “1 of 3 pinned to your job board”.

  1. Open Candidate Reviews.
  2. Find the review and click Pin to your job board.
  3. To remove it from the top, click Unpin from your job board.

A hidden review can’t be pinned, and a review that isn’t approved yet isn’t eligible.

Control the review request emails

Section titled “Control the review request emails”

Dover emails candidates 10 days after they reach an interview stage and asks them to review their interview experience. You set this for each job.

  1. On the Candidate Reviews page, click the settings icon, Candidate review email settings.
  2. In the Candidate review emails window, find the job.
  3. Turn the email on or off, or click the job’s name to open its Customizations section.

You can also change it on the job’s Job Posting tab, under Candidate Review Request. See Job postings and application forms.

Why does a review show Hidden?

The review was hidden, so it doesn’t appear on your job board profile. A hidden review can’t be pinned.

Why can’t I see who left a review?

Seeing who left a review is part of ATS Premium. Without it, reviews show Anonymous candidate.

How many reviews can I pin?

Up to 3.

Can I stop asking candidates for reviews?

Yes, for each job, in the Candidate review email settings. Turning them off depends on your plan.
