Stay up to date with candidate interviews and weekly progress through customizable email notifications.
Dover supports several types of email notifications to keep you informed about your hiring process.
Weekly updates
Section titled “Weekly updates”Receive weekly email summaries of your hiring funnel progress for each job.
Interview notifications
Section titled “Interview notifications”- Call Scheduled: Get notified when candidate interviews are scheduled
- Call Reminder: Receive reminders before upcoming interviews
- 24 hrs before an interview and 1 hr before an interview
- Call Completed: Get updates when team members complete interviews
Application notifications
Section titled “Application notifications”- Daily Application Summary: Receive daily summaries of all new applicants
- Top Applicants: Stay informed about highly qualified candidates (only when Applicant Sorting is on)
Managing email notification settings
Section titled “Managing email notification settings”To customize your notification preferences:
- Go to a specific job
- Go to the ⚙️ Job Settings
- Toggle individual notifications on or off
Manage slack notification settings
Section titled “Manage slack notification settings”Your Slack account needs to be connected on the Integrations page: https://app.dover.com/settings/company/integrations.

- Go to the ⚙️ Job Settings
- Go to the Slack tab
- For each interview stage that you want to receive Slack notifications, choose a slack channel for each notification or set a default notification for that stage.

Will other team members receive the same notifications?
Section titled “Will other team members receive the same notifications?”It depends on the type of notification. Each team member can set their own notification preferences based on their role and needs.
How soon are notifications sent?
Section titled “How soon are notifications sent?”Interview-related notifications are sent immediately while summary notifications follow their scheduled frequency (daily or weekly).
Does Dover’s ATS have notifications via Slack?
Section titled “Does Dover’s ATS have notifications via Slack?”Yes. Dover does have an integration with Slack that allows you to customize your slack notifications.
